The Institute of Self-Worth^®

The Institute of Self-Worth^®, A Curriculum for Life is a nine-subject Bible School curriculum designed to establish Biblical self-worth in the hearts of believers. ISW originated as a Bible study for inmates at the Ozark Correctional Center in Fordland, MO in July of 2003. The response from the inmates and the warden was so positive that we were encouraged to make the teachings available to prison chaplains across the US. The next year was spent writing, teaching, and recording the lessons on DVD (approximately 36 hours of teaching) and designing a "chaplain friendly" manual that could be used in any facility with everything a Chaplain or monitor would need to help the offenders successfully complete the course of study and receive a diploma. The manual was ready in May of 2005 and placement has exceeded any of our expectations. (seeISW Updates page)

The acceptance of the ISW curriculum in many other areas of society outside the prison walls has been overwhelming. We are now in prisons, county and city jails, halfway houses, Indian reservations, safe houses, mental health facilities, the trucking industry, homeless shelters/veterans' homeless shelters, churches, businesses, and Bible schools around the world.

Our stateside goal is to touch every correctional facility in America. We have the hope of establishing self-worth in the hearts of offenders, causing change to come from the heart and manifest in the outward man. Only change in the heart will keep them from returning to the prison system. Think of the spiritual and economic impact our desire to instill Biblical principles of self-worth could have on our society.

Our worldwide vision is to take the message of God's grace to hungry hearts all over the earth as our part of the end time harvest.

ISW is unique in that the ministry finds sponsors to help with funding the curriculum for each facility to ensure that anyone who wants to use it will have access to it. The curriculum cost is $400.00 per single manual or $350.00/ea for 10 or more.
