Ministry Updates
The Institute of Self-Worth®
Update
March 15, 2008
On May 12, 2005, we placed our first curriculum in 26 prisons in the
Arkansas Department of Corrections. We originally hoped to place 50
curriculums a year, but are already placing over 600 a year. There are
now 1716 ISW curriculums in all 50 states and in 71 countries.
The Lord has had His hand on The Institute of Self-Worth®.
Although our primary focus in the United States is prisons, our
overseas focus is churches. In January we placed 100 ISW
curriculums in the nation of Ghana, West Africa.
We are working with Pastor David Biakkung in Burma with a plan to place 1000
revised curriculums in the nation of Burma. There are over 55
million people in Burma. By placing 1000 curriculums in home
churches, we will be able to affect millions of people’s lives.
Ninety per-cent of the population of Burma is Buddhist with seven
per-cent Christians. This project will cost $10,000. If
you would like to help reach the nation of Burma, you may give an
offering on-line.
We are also working on a praise and worship CD and DVD.
This will be for prisons, but available to churches,
and the individuals. The cost will be $25.00 postage paid in the
US. When the project is complete it will be available on-line.
Work has also begun on producing Volume II of Institute of Self-Worth®
curriculum. The teaching focus of Volume II will
be grace and faith.
We want to thank you for standing in prayer with us as we continue to follow the Lord in reaching people
with the message of grace. Our monthly partners help us fund the
placement of ISW curriculum in prisons and underground and
impoverished churches, as well as helping us make new projects.
If you would like to become a monthly partner with us, please let us
know. You will be helping us make a difference in the lives of people
around the world.
Thank you,
Vic Porter
